Now, here's an odd coincidence...Sciencebase (listed above) just reached 1,234 posts according to the Wordpress dashboard, but at the same time it also lists 1,234 comments. Obviously, an average of one comment per post, although the spread is quite wide with the more recent and substantial posts getting more than older ones. The site has been active for over ten years in one form or another but didn't have a comments form until the last few years.
